Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English artist and songwriter, who goes by the name Jessie J. Jessie's unique musical style that blends soul music as well as electropop, pop and hip-hop, has gained her fame from a very young age. In addition to her many honors, she's also been selected for the 2011 "Critics Choice Brit Award" and the BBC's Sound of 2011". The career of Jessie began when she was 11 years old as Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the show Whistle Down the Wind. Then, she was a part of the 'National Youth Music Theater as a performer in the theater's production of 'The Late Sleepers,' which premiered in 2002. It was the year 2011 when she released her first album of studio work 'Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. It was an instant success. Within the first week there were 105,000 copies sold in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US.
