Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. She is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. She started reviewing late in 2009, gaining some recognition on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus Lupa. In the year 2010 she joined in the Channel Awesome Family. Her site remained up until the early days of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. He has also had her guest star on numerous episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews terrible films for children or RiffTrax shows, as well occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). She began reviewing movies in late 2009, gaining popularity in the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
