Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born on May 26, 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. The organization is an integral core team for multilateral engagement participant and analyst in the Assassination Witness program. Within her position at GI TOC, she focuses on assassinations - including disappearances and other violence of all forms in relation to illicit economics. Her research interests encompass the effect of organised crime on human and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of policies and laws. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude with a laude International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. qualification from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been a practicing lawyer for four years, working at a law firm that focuses on public law litigation. The past experience she has had also involved helping in roles with non-governmental organisations headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
